A bright, white light moved quickly over the sky, relatively close to the earth, moved downward and then faded and disappeared.
My boyfriend and I were sitting out in our sunroom having a cigarette. All of a sudden my boyfriend, who had been looking out the windows at the night sky, said, ‘Hm. That’s moving too quickly to be a plane.’ I looked up and saw the object he was referring to. It looked like a bright, white light. It was too close to the earth to be a satellite, and it was moving too quickly to be a plane, plus it didn’t have the characteristic side lights that planes have. It moved across the sky, relatively close to the earth though far enough away that I couldn’t depict any detail of the object. Then it just faded and disappeared. The entire event lasted about thirty seconds.
