Orange glowing objects flying in a stretched formation over O’hare
My Family and I witnessed low flying objects that appeared to be on fire as we were sitting in our back yard on Friday August 17th and on Saturday August 18th.
On Friday August 18th around 8:45pm we saw two objects flying from east to west, Miles apart flying slightly north of our house and over O’Hare airport at an altitude of around 3,000 ft. Then on Saturday around the same time we saw three of the same objects heading the same direction traveling east to west but flying a little south of O’Hare airport. I was able to view two of them thru binoculars but was unable to identify them because of the brightness of the orange and red glow. All five of the objects were traveling at about commercial airplane speeds and did not emit any sounds. We live close to the airport and have never seen anything like these before. The skies were mostly clear and we were able to distinguish all of the commercial airliners that were in the area including airplanes that were flying at max ceiling over our area.
The five objects also were much smaller the any airplanes I had ever seen and I estimate their size to be equivalent to that of a car.
We were aware the there was the air and water show at the lakefront the same days as our sightings but I do not believe that these are related.
I also served in the military and have seen many different fighters and bombers including some of our stealth and former classified aircraft and none of those ever glowed and all of them could be heard. I have seen hundreds of thousands of airplanes in my life because of living near the airport and I am at a loss to explain what we seen.
