Lights in the sky, like 2 headlights, seen from 2nd story window,moving, then disappear
I had just finished watching YouTube in my hotel room. My wife & son were asleep, I looked out of the window at a clear sky night sky. The time was approximately 2240. I was aware of aircraft passing high above from time to time during the day & evening on their approach to east midlands airport. I looked to my left (north) & saw what I thought were 2 lights of an aircraft moving at a fairly slow pace at a lower altitude. I assumed it was a small or light plane heading towards east midlands airport, I would guess at about 1000ft. Thinking nothing of it, I turned & looked to my right ( south) when I turned back to look at the approaching lights, the lights were still on the same course, within about 5 seconds the object completely disappeared in front of my eyes. Interestingly, there was no engine noise, the planes I had observed earlier at a higher altitudes, left behind noise.
