red fire with red glowing object moved back and forth and then gone
My husband and I were taking a ride down to Brenton Point in Newport Rhode Island Sunday 9-2. At about 9:50 PM we were just about at the point when we both saw what looked to be about three fire balls in the sky over the ocean. It almost looked like it does when you see a rocket take off on t.v., it had these three fire, looked like “engines” burning, shooting fire down towards the earth. It was one object and was surrounded by an orange/red glow. It was far up and we stopped and got out to see if we could hear a noise becuase it was SO bright and intense. There was no noise, it was going pretty fast and then it stopped, hovered, went back wards, then forwards, then backwards, then forwards and then it was gone!! I had never seen anything like that in my life and I just had to tell others in case someone else saw that!! What the heck was that!!!!
I was so amazed. We parked the car at brenton point and went and sat on the ocean wall and just looked out over the ocean, waiting to perhaps see it again, or anything like it, but no, there was nothing more, and we stayed over an hour. I have frequented Brenton Point my whole life, I’m 47 now, so i would say I have been going down there for at least 30 years, I have NEVER seen anything like that, either there, or anywhere else, it was really amazing.
