Probable meteorite about to crash in Whatcom County, Wash.
Tonight sometime around 7 – 7:15 I was driving north on I-5 south of Alger, WA (south of Bellingham) with two of my kids, ages 26 and 11. All three of us saw something fall from the sky to the east of a small mountain in Alger which is near the freeway. It looked like a giant shooting star. We thought it might have been a plane about to crash falling incredibly fast, or a meteorite. It had a big white ball with a tail, falling at about a 45 degree angle.
