Silver Cylinder Recorded Hoovering for Over 2 Hours

One night I was working lake at my cabin when I went to shut everything down for the night. When I closed the software and browser I was working on, the screen that shows my 3 security cameras popped up and I saw this silver metallic cylinder flying in the air outside my cabin. This so shocked me it took me a little bit of time to get the courage up to open the curtains and go out on the deck to see what it was. But the 2-3 times I did this, also turning on the porch light…nothing could be seen with my bare eyes. So I went and got my digital camera and started filming my computer screen showing the footage streaming from the security cam out front on my monitor.

I was so curious/and or alarmed as to what this thing was that I ended up filming it over for two hours until I finally got so tired I just went to sleep. When morning came I went outside and tried to figure out what could have made this happen and there was nothing! The cylinder is flying in the air, with nothing above or below it, bobbing up and down a few feet in front of the roofline of my cabin.

The air was so still that night that not even an aspen leaf was moving which can also be seen in my video. To this day no one was given me an explanation that makes sense, though I didn’t think of reporting it until now when I heard a UFO had been sighted about 60 miles from here back in March of 2012.

My question is, is there any other reportings or video of something like this? I’ve watched several YouTube videos of metallic cylinders but nothing was as close as this thing was to me, right outside my doors.

bright white lights in daylight SE sky resembling stars, as many as 8 at once, sometimes moving, sometimes not, sometimes dimming into disappearance.

My husband and his brother were relaxing in the back yard and noticed the lights. They saw as many as 8 or 9 of them. Myself, my sister-in-law and friend were in garage. The guys came around to the front of the house to get us to look up. By the time I saw the lights, they were hard to see as it was still daylight and they were quite tiny like stars. I only saw 3 of them. They were completely still. Then one of them moved closer to another one. Eventually each of them dimmed and disappeared.
It was as though they might be heading straight out away from the earth and that is why they dimmed before disappearing. They did not blink or change colors or sizes. There were no tails, or auras, or beams. There was a plane at one point in the sky, but who knows if they noticed the objects. I don’t think anything would have shown up in a photo or video. To be honest, I never thought of even taking pictures. We were just focusing so intently to try to keep them in sight to see if they did anything strange.

At first, some of us thought they might be stars, until they moved. I figured very few people would have noticed them. It was a fluke that our guys even saw them. You really had to look hard to see them. The guys probably wouldn’t have noticed them if they hadn’t been relaxing and looking up and if there hadn’t been so many to begin with.

Black bird/plane like object

I was outside about mid afternoon on this warm sunny day, looked up and saw a plane flying leaving a white trail behind. I then noticed a black object which looked like a giant bird at first, but I realized it was hovering in one spot not moving. I also noticed no movement from the “wings”. I called my 13 yr old daughter over to see it. Still no flapping of wings at all, so it wasn’t a bird. Next it moved to the left, then back and forth, certainly not a helicopter or bird. Then it dipped a little, made a couple circle motions. Now we are watching this thing trying to figure out what it is. Suddenly it turned a 90 angle and SHOT straight north. No trail or noize. It was shaped like a bird/plane, but no wings flapping or trail, and no tail. It both hovered and moved, but made a turn where the bottom was brighter as it hit the sunlight. When this made the 90 degree turn and headed north it was out of sight in seconds. This was not a bird or a plane.

LOCATION
I was driving east bound on M-72 just east of Grayling, Michigan on Wednesday evening, May 9, 2012, at approximately 9:55 PM EDT.
My fiance was in the front passenger seat of the car. There was one vehicle (minivan) about 50 yards ahead of us, no vehicles behind us, and no oncoming traffic. We were heading to the home of friends to spend a few days fishing and morel mushroom hunting.

The east/west highway, M-72, was lined with pine trees about the typical height of telephone poles on each side of the road. Our view of the sky was limited to the north and south because of the trees.

CONDITIONS
The sky was clear and very transparent with no cloud cover. The car thermometer read 47 degrees.

SIGHTING
Several, seemingly stationary, bright star-like lights simultaneously appeared (turned on) in the night sky for a few seconds and then abruptly dimmed off.

CHARACTERISTICS
The lights suddenly appeared before us about 50 degrees above the eastern horizon in a line partially obscured by the trees on both sides of the highway. There were at least 6, and perhaps 8, individual lights visible from our moving frame of reference (55 mph).

The lights were light yellow/orange in color similar to the way the planets Jupiter and Saturn appear when visible in the night sky, and about the same apparent size and magnitude of Jupiter. (Venus was shining brightly in the western sky behind us at the time of the sighting.)

There was no way to accurately determine the altitude of the objects.

After a few seconds, the configuration of the lights changed to resemble a triangle with a few/clump of lights to the right and a couple of stray lights above and below the triangular configuration; and then the lights just abruptly turned off as if someone had a big dimmer switch in the night sky! They did not fall and trail off like a meteor or fireball created by re-entering space debris. Nor did they blink on and off in a strobe-like fashion.

I have observed many meteorological and astronomical phenomena over the years, including displays of the aurora, meteor showers, sporadic fireballs & bolides, et cetera. To date, this was the most unusual thing I have seen in the night sky. I jokingly said to my fiance, who also witnessed the lights, that we had just seen something from science fiction that resembled the cloaking technology from Star Trek or Star Wars.

Large bright color changing light hovering east of Vienna just under cloud cover

Object was observed while driving just east of Vienna on Rt 146. I initially thought it was a bright star, but the light changed from white to yellow, orange, then red. Color change was constant w/ no flashing or pulsing. I slowed down the closer I got & I could see the light illuminating the cloud cover just above it. As I passed under it, it appeared to be hovering in one spot and could not hear a telltale helicopter sound. I observed it in my review mirror for several seconds then it was gone. I reported this incident to the local sheriff’s office, reluctantly, but I had to find out if there were any other reports. There were no other reports but he confirmed that there was no aircrafts in that area @ that time.

Object hovering over former AFB, now Castle Airport

While making daily airfield checks I noticed something in the sky that I knew was not an airplane. I reached over got my camera because I take pictures of aircraft all the time but wanted to zoom in to see what it was I was really seeing. I got one picture from the drivers side. By the time I got out of the truck to get better situated it was gone and I only got one picture of it.

Small ufo rising to the sky.

I was out for a walk along Fiske Road near the intersection with Duprey Road, and observed what first looked like an escaped birthday balloon being carried along by the wind (it was a windy day) approximately 30 feet from the ground and maybe 100 feet away. In began to gain altitute slowly as if rising in the wind, but then accelerated rapidly and rose up and away and was gone. Before it disappeared from view I observed a white blinking light coming from it and at that point realized that it was a UFO! It made no noise. It could not have been anything else. Its shape was sort of fat and oblong from my nearly horizontal view of it while it was nearer to the ground.

Interestingly, there is a small electrical sub-station in the vicinity of where it appeared to have been traveling from. The object appeared to be small, maybe 3-5 feet in diameter.

Incredibly fast metallic object shot into my view halted for a second maybe two then shot off in a northward direction and dissappeared

First, I must say that I have never reported anything like this before, though I have seen things in the sky I couldn’t explain…the only reason I even bothered with this report is that it was seen in open clear blue skies and was so obviously NOT anything I could explain away. I was driving to work at an independent living center where I am an architectural barrier consultant and code enforcer…the sighting took place on a straight road with a clear view of the morning sky… while I was noticing how vivid and blue the sky was I saw something of a flash come into my view heading east at about (and I am estimating here) 4 miles out and about 15,000 feet up (much lower than most jets I see in this area). It slowed from a flash, to a halt in less than a second maybe two seconds…when it stopped I only had time to realize it was really sitting there and that it was reflective to the morning sun before it shot off to the north at a rate of speed that was absolutely insane…in my 42 years I have never seen anything that could do this type of a maneuver…I pulled off to the side of the road to try to see where it went and collect my head a bit…I was absolutely dumbfounded and my mind was racing to come up with ANYTHING that could explain what I just saw…Here is what I am sure of…there is NO WAY that was a bird, swamp gas, man made flying machine, meteor or a hallucination…nothing in our common understanding of G forces and man’s limitations against them could explain this one…WOW!! Still have goose bumps over it!
